LUNY was once a downtown LUG in NYC. The old LUNY site has been taken down, but is still available at Ruth's site.

From some point after LUNY went defunct in 2001 until 2011, this site was a billboard for local user groups.

The present LUNY site hosts The Mailing List of Stuff Linux/FLOSS users Might Find Interesting (or the "I need a shorter name" list) .  If you have an announcement you'd like sent to the Linux users of New York, you can send it to info@luny.org .
